16 COVID-19 cases recorded at KIA

Since President Nana Aakufo-Addo reopens the border 16 persons have tested positive to the COVID-19 pandemic. Daily News Ghana reports.

Since the reopen od the border on September 1, 2020, 6,976 arriving travellers have been tested with 16 positive cases recorded.

The Information Minister in his Oppong Nkrumah giving an update on the 16 cases recorded said: “Four out of the 16 have been hospitalized with the rest being managed from home.”

Ghana COVID-19 active cases now stand at  564 with a total of 45, 655 confirmed cases.

The number of persons recovered or discharged has risen to 44,797.
