2022 World Cup playoffs: Aston Villa coach George Boateng arrives for Ghana-Nigeria

The 46-year-old trainer has touched down in the West African nation for the penultimate 2022 FIFA World Cup final playoff games.

Black Stars assistant coach George Boateng has arrived in Ghana ahead of the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Nigeria.

Boateng arrived at the Kotoka International Airport (KIA) with the technical advisor of the Black Stars, Chris Hughton on Saturday evening.
Two other members of the technical team made up of stop-gap coach Otto Addo and one of his assistant coaches Mas-ud Didi Dramani are expected to arrive in Ghana tonight.
Also, Players invited are expected to arrive in the country from Sunday night per the Ghana Football Association arrangements.
The Black Stars host Super Eagles in the first leg at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Friday March 25, 2022 before traveling to Abuja for the reverse fixture on 29th March, 2022.

The Black Stars will open camp on Monday as the team prepares ahead of the first leg encounter against their West African rivals.
The team will travel to Kumasi on Tuesday to begin preparations for the game on Friday at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
