Broadcast Journalist, Afia Pokua, popularly known as Vim Lady, has revealed in an interview monitored by MyNewsGh.com that she will soon quit active journalism and that means quitting UTV where she recently joined.
According to the outspoken journalist, it is not worth losing her life for Ghana, and one could die without a trace.
In an interview on ‘Bo Me Nkomo’ with comedian, KSM Afia said: ” “My life has been at risk, I get people attacking me every day, sending me threats on WhatsApp and other social media platforms…I am going to stop doing active radio very soon. I want to teach because I have noticed that it is my family I will lose if anything should happen to me…..see what happened to the Abuakwa MP, Late J.B Danquah Adu, a whole member of Parliament and we still do not know who murdered him”.
Pokua, before leaving Multimedia’s Adom FM, was the host of ‘Burning Issues’ a political show, where she questioned and criticized politicians for their actions.
