Asamoah Gyan, a Ghana legend, has expressed his ambition to play for Asante Kotoko before retiring from football.
The 36-year-old has never concealed his passion for the Porcupine Warriors, indicating his willingness to play for them in the past.
Gyan returned to the Ghana Premier League in the 2020/21 season, but this time with Legon Cities, where he only played six games due to niggling injuries.
Despite not having played since leaving the Royals, the former Sunderland forward stated that he intends to line up for Kotoko.
“I would like to play for Asante Kotoko if I have to return [to playing football again]. I am a huge fan of the club,” he said on Joy FM.
