Asante Kotoko is heading to CAS after vivid evidence against Al Hilal

Information reacting Daily News Ghana is that Kumasi Asante Kotoko is heading to the Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS).
According to the club, it has substantial evidence against Al Hilal after second Covid test results conducted by a military hospital in Khartoum produced different findings from the first conducted by Ashadeed Ataya Lab in Omdurman.

In the meantime, CAF has given the Sudanese club a berth into the next stage at the expense of the Porcupine Warriors.

Kotoko lost 1-0 in the first leg of the final qualification round to Al-Hilal and saw the second leg canceled due to COVID-19 concerns in Kotoko’s camp.

The Porcupine Warriors were unable to provide at least 15 players for the clash and as such automatically conceded the match with a 2-0 scoreline for Al-Hilal.
