AUDIO: Fianko cruel accident, eye witness gives vivid details

Four-persons have been confirmed dead with others in critical conditions after a bus with registration number GL 527 somersaulted on the Suhum-Nsawam road.

According to the report, the bus was from Bolgatanga carrying 49 passengers along the way lost control at Fianko, a farming community along the Suhum Nsawam road on Tuesday, September 8, 2020.

Giving full account on the accident in a phone interview, UTV reporter Michael Akrofi said there were 27 men and 12 women and 6 children.

According to Michael, out of the four dead, two were children with one just 7 months old and the other 11 years old and 2 women.

Speaking to some of the residents of Fianko who saw the accident said they don’t really know what was wrong with the driver they just saw the car off the road somersaulting.

“Maybe the driver was sleeping, I just saw the car off the road somersaulting and we rush there to help,” one resident said.
