WATCH: Available Jobs in the UK and how to apply, UK residency – UK based Ghanaian lawyer reveals

Wisdom Amedome, a Ghanaian lawyer working in the United Kingdom, has revealed information on how to apply for UK residency for overstayers, available jobs, and how to apply, among other things.

Lawyer Wisdom told SVTV Africa that there are a lot of job chances in the health field as a result of the pandemic, but that anyone who wants to work in London should not come on a tourist visa.

He indicated that there is a method for doing so. All you have to do now is find a sponsorship or a recruitment agency in the United Kingdom.

“Perhaps you’re a nurse or a health worker who wants to work in the UK; it will be easier because Covid has created a lot of room.” As a result, I would not recommend coming here on a tourist visa if you wish to work.

If you are a professional, you must seek out the appropriate means. ‘Nurses to Britain,’ a recruitment agency with an office in Ghana, is located here. If you apply with them and everything goes well, you’ll be able to come to the UK with a job waiting for you,” he explained.

Wisdom also told DJ Nyaami, the host of Daily Hustle in the UK, that there are jobs for butchers, dancers, and other professions in addition to nursing. Such applicants, however, must go through a sponsor (recruitment agency) in the United Kingdom.

There are several ways to apply for permanent residency in the United Kingdom, according to lawyer Wisdom. An overstayer may be awarded a residency through marriage, childbirth, or other means, according to him.

“If he arrives in the UK and his visa expires, but he does not wish to return, UK immigration regulations state that if you are 25 years or older, you must stay here for 20 years before applying for residency.”
