Building collapses in Dormaa killed 10-year-old boy

A 10-year-old boy has been killed in Dormaa Ahenkro-Nkyenkyenkye in Dormaa Central Municipality of the Bono Region after a building collapse with two injured Daily News Ghana reports.

According to the report, the three children were playing football when the ball entered the old building trying to get their ball out lead to the collapse of the building.

The building then collapsed on the children namely Pius, 9, Rockson, 10, and Listowel, 10, now deceased, the residents around who rushed the scene were able to rescue fast the three children and rushed them to Dormaa Government Hospital but Listowel died while on admission.

Speaking to Listowel’s mother in an interview she told Daily News Ghana that for a moment her heart stopped beating after hearing the news.

“I nearly collapsed my heart stopped beating I was in deep pain I almost lost myself…we are now waiting for police report so that we can bury my son,” Listowel’s mother Hannah Nsua said.
