It all exciting for the fans of London club Chelsea as their boss Frank Lampard announces the availability of Thiago Silva and Ben Chilwell ahead of their Carabao Cup match against Barnsley.
Chelsea and Barnsley have never previously played each other in the League Cup.
The last time this two clubs met was in March 2008 when Avram Grant took his Blues side to Oakwell for a quarter-final FA Cup tie.
Barnsley’s Kayode Odejayi scored the only goal just past the hour. The Tykes lost to Cardiff in the semi-final at Wembley.
The good news is Chelsea have won their past four games against Barnsley in all competition, scoring 12 goals in the process. The Tykes’ last win at the Bridge was 37 years ago in March 1983 in Division Two when Norman Hunter was their manager.
