PHOTOS: EOCO takes over Kofi Amoabeng’s plush mansion

A plush mansion belonging to the former UT Boss, Kofi Amoabengd, has been taken over by the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) and being investigated.
The notice has been placed on the gate of the house warning the public to keep off because the building was under the care of the EOCO.
His bank collapsed in 2017 after it was declared insolvent by the central bank. It was then absorbed by the Ghana Commercial Bank (GCB) together with all of its customers.
The bank was described as one whose liability exceeded its assets. It reported owed about 11 billion cedis in the unpaid loans.
