Former Chief of Staff, Julius Debrah commends Kwahu Ambassador, Odame Agyare

Former Chief of Staff of the erstwhile Mahama administration, Mr. Julius Debrah has commended Odame Agyare, a Media Practitioner who doubles as the Kwahu Ambassador, over the good works he has been doing for Kwahu and its environs.

Odame Agyare was appointed by the Paramount Queen-mother of Kwahu Traditional Area, Nana Adwoa Gyamfua III following his dedication and relentless effort to project and promote the area.

Being the ambassador for Kwahu, Odame Agyare has relentlessly promoted and projected Kwahu in a good way and has therefore attracted attention and love from the people of Kwahu who believe that no one has ever done this for the township and has since received a great commendation.

Mr. Julius Debrah applauded the excellent works of the Kwahu Ambassador and hoped he will continue the good works he has already initiated.

Mr. Ambassador, thank you so much for projecting our heritage and who we are. God richly bless you. Mr. Debrah stated in a Facebook comment.

Odame Agyare has also helped in debunking several myths which sought to say the people of Kwahu are stingy and criminals.

In a recent interview with the current Inspector General of Police, IGP James Boanuh, Odame Agyare had the IGP clarify that Kwahus are very hard-working and has never had a high rate of a crime connected to them.

People see Kwahus be stingy and crime oriented due to the fact that the majority of the people are rich and also placed in high ranking positions.

But apparently, Kwahus themselves believe that the riches mostly flaunted are gained through hard work.

However, in some of his documentaries, he sought to project the Asikam waterfalls, the Odweanoma Paragliding sites, and also the production of tiger nuts in Kwahu Aduamoa.

He has continued to project the famous earthenware (Apotoyowa) which is mostly produced by the people of Kwahu Asakraka and many other things.

He however believes that with this initiative, he will be able to project Kwahu and its environs to redevelopment and also let others know what good things the people of Kwahu have, and therefore investing there will bring great opportunities.
