‘I respect you but I do not fear you one bit’ – Captain Smart throws shots at Akufo-Addo

Godsbrain Smart, also known as Captain Smart, has indicated that he does not believe anyone dislikes Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, but that Ghanaians are dissatisfied with his leadership.

Captain Smart sees the problem with the Akufo-Addo administration as the bootlickers who surround the president and give him the idea that everything is well despite obvious problems.

Smart also encouraged Akufo-Addo to read his statements privately before delivering them in public during one of his regular appearances on the Onua Maakye program on Onua FM/TV.

He continued: “No one in this country hates you, I (Kojo Smart) will tell it to you if you do right and if you do wrong because I respect you but I don’t fear you. I will respect you but I don’t fear you one bit. I fear no one in this country.

Captain Smart’s confrontational manner of presentation has sparked debate in both political and professional circles.

He was recently arrested by the authorities after making comments indicating that he backed an uprising to address society’s faults. He dismissed the arrest, referring to it as his matriculation.’
