Jordan Ayew tests positive for COVID-19; pushed out of Black Stars squad against Nigeria

Jordan Ayew, a Crystal Palace forward, has tested positive for coronavirus, according to DailyNewsGhana.com source
The 30-year-old last played for the Eagles in a 0-0 draw against Manchester City, in which he came on as a 65th-minute substitute for Michael Olise.
However, according to reports this morning, the former Marseille forward has tested positive for coronavirus, ruling him out of Ghana’s World Cup qualifier playoffs against Nigeria next week.
Otto Addo, the head coach of the Black Stars, is due to name his squad for the crucial match on Monday, March 21, 2022, although it is most probable that he would leave Jordan Ayew out and replace him with Emmanuel Gyasi of Spezia Calcio.
