Maverick boxer and entertainer, Bukom Banku has hinted his friend and former President John Dramani Mahama has promised to buy a special coffin for the burial of his late mother.
Recall that in a previous interview on Asempa FM, the professional boxer whose real name is Braimah Kamoko disclosed that he had lost his mother after 17-years of battling with sickness.
In this fresh interview with SVTV Africa, he noted that he would prefer a golden casket for his late mom and Mr. Mahama has promised to get him that. According to him, he won’t be spending a pesewa on the funeral because his rich fathers in the country will take care of everything.
“I told Mahama that I want a golden coffin for my mother’s funeral. I will not spend [any money] on this funeral because my fathers are there,” Bukom Banku said.
He further noted that he’ll do everything to ensure his mother is buried in Accra where most people know him.
In other news, suspended Communications Team member of the NDC, Stephen Atubiga has bid the umbrella party a farewell after his frosty relationship with the rank and file of the biggest opposition party reached a meltdown.
In a letter addressed to the Functional Executive Committee of the NDC, a copy of which was shared on his Facebook page, Atubiga did not let anything hold back his emotions as he poured them out while stating the main motive why he’s resigning from the party.
