Nketepa robbery: One of the armed robbers licked me after taking my money – Victim narrates

A lady who gave her name as Linda who was part of a robbery attack on her way from the market on the Nketepa to Kwahu Adowso road told Daily News Ghana that she was l!cked by one of the armed robbers after taking her money.

Linda who was a victim of the robbery which took place on Saturday, September 26, 2020, on the road to Nketepa a farming community in the Kwahu Afram Plains South District of the Eastern Region described the incident as terrifying.

“We were on our way to the market at Nketepa on Saturday around 7:30 am, usually my mother is the one who goes the market but she was not feeling well so I took her place,” she told Daily News Ghana.

“Just about a few kilometers to the marketplace at Nketepa we were stopped by armed robbers I was terrified because that was my first experince. The armed robbers were four in numbers some three were holding a knife and one with a gun.”

“They asked as to lie down on the floor and they searched in the car they then asked as to stand up and faced the car as they search us, one of the armed robbers with a knife pull me aside and ask me to bring my money and told him I’m now going to the market to sell so I have no money on me he searched my pocket and fine 30 cedis.”

“He then dragged me to the bush and he asked me to lie down I did. I was wearing a skirt so he pulls the skirt up and pulled down my pant, I was really terrified.”

“He started l!cking me for a while and asked me if I came and I said yes, he then told me I’m beautiful and dragged me back to the others and we drove off to the market.”

“I was depressed the whole but I was happy when I heard the youth in the area mobilized and chased the armed robbers who fled into the and after a hot chase one was arrested.”

Kwahu South, Kwahu Afrm Plain North, and South districts are struggling to deal with armed robbery attacks for a decade now.
