PHOTOS: Beautiful police woman stabbed to death at Damongo; boyfriend declared wanted

A Police Constable identified as Sandra Asiedu, stationed at Damongo in the Savannah Region, was found dead at her residence.

This was announced in a statement issued by the Ghana Police Service on Monday, August 2, 2021.

According to the police, the victim was found in a pool of blood with wounds believed to be from knife stabs.

The police in the statement said they are on a manhunt for the boyfriend of the deceased.

“A police constable (name withheld) has been found dead at her residence at Damongo in the Savannah Region on 2nd August 2021. She was found in a pool of blood with wounds believed to be knife stabs.”

“The body has since been deposited at the West Gonga Hospital, pending investigation. Her boyfriend is highly suspected, and the police are on a manhunt for him.”

Meanwhile, the landlord of the deceased, one Mahama Zakariah, according to a report filed by DGN Online, said he was informed of a misunderstanding between the boyfriend of the deceased and another man.

“ I was called that there was a fight in the house around 10pm but I wasn’t feeling well so I couldn’t go there and was told the husband of the deceased came and met one man there and they were fighting so later I was told that they had stopped the fight,” he said.
