According to the English daily DailyMail, Tariq Lamptey is planning to transfer allegiances from England ahead of the World Cup.
Players can switch allegiances under FIFA rules if they have played no more than three competitive international games before the age of 21.
Ghana is also reportedly interested in Hudson-Odoi and Brighton defender Tariq Lamptey, with the Blues youngster reportedly considering a move.
Lamptey hasn’t been called up to Gareth Southgate’s senior England team, but he has played for the Three Lions at the under-21 level.
Ghana qualified for the World Cup by defeating Nigeria on away goals in their World Cup playoff on Tuesday.
