The eight conditions Ghana must meet before hosting Nigeria on March 25 in crucial qualifier

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has granted the Ghana Football Association a one-match permit to host the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifying playoff between Ghana and Nigeria at the Baba Yara Stadium on Friday, March 25.

The Black Stars were supposed to play the Super Eagles in the first leg at the Cape Coast Stadium, but CAF received objections from Nigeria about the stadium’s unfit state with less than two weeks to go.

As a result of Ghana’s opponents’ actions, CAF has decided to shift the vital match away from the Central region, with the Baba Yara Stadium now set to host the match.
