The death of Mr. Emmanuel Kyerematen Agyarko shocked many

News of his demise shook the core of the nation. The Member of Parliament, a member of the New Patriotic Party, and the pharmacist passed away after an undisclosed medical illness.

Emmanuel Agyarko, prior to his death, had gone to the United States to seek medical care after diagnoses he was stabilized at the Ridge Hospital in Accra.

Married with seven children, he served as MP for the Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency since 2012 after he replaced the current Chief of Staff, Frema Opare as MP for the area.

Mr. Agyarko was described by many of his colleagues as an affable man who was fair and respectable.

Its exactly a year on after the sad news and social media users haven’t failed to honor him.

The late MP was a pharmacist, medical doctor, and politician born on December 10, 1957, at Odumase Krobo in the Eastern Region of Ghana.

He had a Bachelor in Pharmacy which he obtained at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in the year 1982.

He was once the CEO of the Food and Drugs Authority (FDA).
