VIDEO: 2nd Runner-up of TV3 Mentor 4 finally speaks after 10-years in Psychiatric hospital

Angel Blessing of TV3 Mentor fame recently revealed in an interview that she is currently unable to care for herself.

Angel Akuamoah Boateng was born in Ghana and came in second place in the 2008 edition of TV3 Mentor, which was the country’s top music reality show at the time.

Despite Mentor’s reputation and talent development, Angel Blessing was unable to break into the mainstream music industry, and she vanished from the public eye.

In a recent interview with Obibini Tv, the 2008 Mentor 2nd runner-up revealed that she was diagnosed with a mental disorder after the show.

She went on to say that she spent ten years in a psychiatric facility while her children were taken away from her.

I was powerless to help myself. For ten years, I was admitted to a psychiatric facility once a year. “I was separated from my children, and I still yearn to see them,” she said.

She also stated that she is currently unemployed and unable to make ends meet.
