A Nigerian man was stopped from taking his life after he lost all his funds in the bank to a fraudster who hacked into his account and triggered a transfer.
In a video posted on social media, the distraught man who had stormed the bank situated in Lagos after learning of his predicament tied a wire around his neck in an attempt to strangle himself.
From what was gathered as shared on Facebook, hackers gained access into the man’s account and stole over N450,000, so he visited his bank, and they traced and froze the hacker’s account.
After the transaction was successfully blocked, he was told to get a court affidavit to prove that he was not the one who did the transaction.
But on getting the court document, he was informed that the money has been released by unfreezing the hacker’s account.
This left him frustrated and he decided to end it all.
