WATCH: Alleged thief who was forced to sing hymns at UEW tells story of what happened

On SVTV Africa, an alleged thief and former member of the Winneba Youth Choir who was called to sing at the University of Education, Winneba (UEW) has finally recounted what transpired.

Henry Acquah Samson, as he is known in private, claimed that he went to the UEW hostel to hunt for someone, but that the person he was looking for appeared to be unavailable.

“I was looking for a student who provides me money for food on a regular basis.” After pounding again and receiving no response, I noticed a cylinder on the porch. “Just as I was about to take the cylinder, a man appeared,” he explained.

He went on to say that a group of students gathered soon after, but “one of them recognized me as a singer and requested me to perform.” I apologized since it was incorrect.”

Henry is a recovering drug user and a former member of the Akoo Show choir, a Winneba-based musical ensemble, as well as the Winneba Youth Choir.
