Watch Video: Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II receives COVID-19 vaccine

Paramount Chief of the Ashanti Kingdom, Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has publicly received the covid-19 vaccine.

On February 24, 2021, Ghana received 600,000 COVAX vaccines to be distributed among Ghanaians by the end of March 2021.

The first Ghanaian who received the vaccine was the president of Ghana, H.E Nana Akufo-Addo, followed by his wife, Rebecca Akufo-Addo. This was followed by the vaccination of the family of the vice president.

Today, former president, John Dramani Mahama and his wife, Lordina Mahama were also vaccinated.

The latest video also shows the paramount chief of the most powerful kingdom in Ghana, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II receiving his vaccine in public.
